The 4 Axioms – My League of Awesome Allies

It is my conviction that we all need encouragement and belonging. 

 I want to find and connect with “my people”

 We all need to find our place in the Great Belonging.

 I very much want to connect with people who have similar values as me.

 I want to give & receive validation, encouragement, and belonging with those who are “my people”

 

Those words above are from the article I wrote yesterday  – Friday, Jan 24 about my developing League of Awesome Allies  

At the end of that article I said that my next article would share the 4 axioms I have come up with for this burgeoning community.

These 4 axioms are my way of conveying some of the positive “values” I want to be present in the hearts & minds of those are “my people”

If these 4 axioms resonate with you, we might just be a good fit to be each other’s people.

 

By the way – here is how dictionary.com defines the word axiom:

“a self-evident truth that requires no proof.

a universally accepted principle or rule.

Logic, Mathematics. a proposition that is assumed without proof for the sake of studying the consequences that follow from it.”

 

So without further ado – here are my 4 LAA (League of Awesome Allies) axioms.

The 4 League of Awesome Allies Axioms

No 1 – Everyone is on a Journey

 

No 2 – Everyone has Great days, Good days, Mediocre days, Tough days, and every once in a while, Devastating days

 

No 3 – We are all both Flawed and Magnificent

 

No. 4 – We all need Encouragement

 

Like I said – if those axioms speak to you – perhaps we are a good fit to be each other’s people.

Lastly – I hope to sometime soon make a video for the Steven Shomler YouTube channel unpacking each of those axioms and talking about why they matter to me.
