Running a Brewery for The Past Year – My Personal Reflections

Today is Aug 9, 2024…

At end of July 2023 the staff at Culmination Brewing was told that the brewery was closing, and on Aug 3, 2023, an Oregonian article about Culmination came out – that article said things like – “Culmination is circling the drain” & “There’s no way out of this”

The Culmination Board of Directors ended up meeting with me on Tues evening Aug 8, 2023, and they asked me to come back to the brewery and do my part to try save the iconic Portland brewery I had helped launched back in 2015 & 2016

My first day back at Culmination was Aug 9, 2023, and as of today I have been here for a year.
