Fall is here! Well almost… according to my calendar, fall actually begins on September 23rd. But, hey Labor Day is now behind us and college football is in full swing. (Boise St 33 Virgina Tech 30.)
A number of outlets have put out their Fall 2010 Movie Previews.

What Caught My Eye – Directed by Ben Affleck. starring Ben Affleck, Jon Hamm, Jermey Renner (from The Hurt Locker). A Bank Robber (Ben Affleck) who does not care about much of anything, begins to care quite a bit about someone he briefly took hostage during a recent robbery.

9/24 Buried (limited release on Sept 24th, Opens wide Oct 8th)
What Caught My Eye – Ryan Reynolds. US contractor working in Iraq, wakes up buried in a coffin with only a faltering cell phone and a lighter.

9/24 Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole . PG (3D and 2D)
What Caught My Eye – Zack Snyder who directed 300 directs. Looks like a fun family flick. Fierce owls wearing battle claws and helmets? Sounds cool to me.

9/24 Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
What Caught My Eye – Shia LaBeouf, Micheal Douglas, Charlie Sheen. The sequel to Wall Street – an 80’s classic. Gordon Gekko is back and none to soon. Quote by Gekko from Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps – “Someone reminded me I once said ‘Greed is good’. Now it seems it’s legal. Because everyone is drinking the same Kool Aid”

What Caught My Eye –Mike Rich (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike and http://www.imdb.com/Mike Rich/ ) is the writer for this film. Mike Rich also wrote Finding Forrestor, The Rookie and The Nativity. I think that John Malkovich and Diane Lane will be be enjoyable in this movie. Check out the trailer and see if your heart is not stirred a little.
